Comparative Population Studies (CPoS) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal of population studies and demography. Topics published include, but are not limited to: family and fertility, ageing, health and mortality, migration and mobility, and population structure and development. Contributions in English are welcome at all times. Publishing in CPoS is completely free of charge. Further, the journal offers free language editing and high-quality layout support.

CPoS was founded in 2010 as successor of the (German-speaking) Zeitschrift für Bevölkerungswissenschaft (ZfB) established in 1975. CPoS is published by Prof. Dr. Norbert F. Schneider on behalf of the German Federal Institute for Population Research.
